We Have Expanded Our North East Catering Services

We have expanded further, partnering with Newcastle Building Society to provide on-site catering at their offices on Cobalt Business Park, in North Tyneside.

With over ten years’ experience of catering experience, we have built a reputation for providing in-house high-quality corporate lunches and afternoon teas using ingredients sourced from local suppliers.

We initially supported the Newcastle Building Society site with a safe and secure corporate catering option throughout lockdown. We catered for 100 people every day for six months, ensuring that Society colleagues could remain safely on-site while accessing healthy food options.

Complete catering solution

Our Business Development Manager, Nicola Kinloch said, “we are thrilled to be providing a complete catering solution for such a well-established North East brand. It was important to the Society to work with a local business when looking at creating an on-site cafe, and having supported the team with food options throughout lockdown, this made Olivia’s Kitchen the preferred option”.

We are certainly no stranger to supplying North East corporate catering solutions. We have partnered with the North East Business and Innovation Centre in Sunderland, Leica Biosystems in Newcastle, and Whistl in Washington to provide onsite catering and cafe services and vending options.

Sustainable operation

Craig Garbutt, Head of Property Services at Newcastle Building Society, was tasked with preparing the building ready to welcome back the team. Craig said, “We are delighted to be working with Olivia’s Kitchen to provide our team based at Cobalt Business Park with a great range of food options. We are keen to partner with a North East business that operates sustainably and provides complete transparency on ingredients, therefore catering to any of our team with food allergies”.

With over 20 people employed across five North East sites responsible for food preparation, distribution, sales and marketing, hygiene practices, and food allergies, we have quickly grown in size and reputation.

Nicola continued, “It has been quite a journey so far! We have expanded our menus to include tapas and hot food options and can create bespoke, tailored menus for special occasions, such as our recent Maltese menu. We look forward to working with more North East businesses as we continue to expand our catering services”.
